As one of the world’s largest employers the hospitality industry continues to grow at a rapid rate. It is recognized as a well- known industry that seem to be undergoing renaissance despite of the economic gloom, as it offers a wide and various scope for career progression.
Swiss German University’s Hotel and Tourism Management students’ batch 2018 will host our annual event: Hotel and Arts Festival (HARFEST). The event will take place on 6 April 2019. This year, HARFEST will feature three competitions: National Front Desk Competition (NFDC), Latte art
Competition, and Cake Decorating Competition.
HARFEST exists as a platform to promote the hospitality industry as well as enhancing the abilities of both participants and committees to become professionals in their respected hospitality-related field.
HARFEST 2019 respectfully invite individuals to join our National Front Desk Competition (NFDC) to compete as well as showing their ability and skills in handling guests. We are honoured to be supported by the Hotel Frontliner Association – Indonesia (HFLA) for this competition. The Front Desk competition is open for university/high school level and professional level.

It’s an honour to welcome all baristas to HARFEST 2019 Latte Art Competition. Giving all participants an opportunity to have an excellence experience, all participants must submit their design of latte art via e-mail beforehand. The design must be suitable to this year’s theme, which is tropical.
Registration Fee: IDR 100,000 + IDR 50,000 (WO)
We invite individuals to participate in this competition in order to develop their decorating skills as well as creativity and turn a hobby into a profitable venture. Cake will be provided and for those joining this competition are required to decorate according to given theme.
